South East Alaska

We just got back from spending Thanksgiving in Hoonah, AK. We were gone for close to two weeks. The first week we were in Wrangall, Haines, Juneau, Petersburg and Skagway for Jud's work. I was a little nervous about Tucker on all those flights, but he was a great trooper(= and a big flirt with everyone (especially the pretty flight attendants). He usually flirted right up until takeoff, and then he would be lulled to sleep until we landed. Tucker and I flew in our first small airplane on the trip to Skagway. It had room for five passengers besides the pilot. Thankfully it was a smooth ride, and I really enjoyed it even though I didn't see the whale that Jud saw. I saw a sea lion and several mountain goats though, and the scenery was breathtaking with all the fresh snow on the mountain tops.
