Oink, Neigh, Moo... Tucker Turns Two

Wow!  Two already.  What a couple of fun days we had celebrating too.  First the Blough crew celebrated with us on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and Tucker had a great time with his Alaska cousins.  Next my family came up and Aunt Esther helped me make this fun farmyard cake and we opened gifts.  Then Aunt Misty helped we load the little ones in the car and we spent an afternoon visiting a neighbor’s farm.  Tucker LOVED seeing, petting and imitating the animals.  Since he is two now he went to his first Sunday School class.  My little boy is getting bigger ); Sigh!

Easter

Easter Sunday we spent in Ninilchik with family.  It was a wonderful time of rejoicing and fellowship.  I love singing the resurrection hymns.  What joy and hope they evoke.

I wish I had pictures of the feast that Vicky, Bea and Auntie M prepared. It was scrumptious.  Tucker’s cousins took him on an egg hunt which was very popular.

We received two bunny rabbits in the mail from great Grandma and Grandpa in Texas. Tucker and Aliya love playing with them.

Summer Activities

Hiking Table Top in Anchorage

Tucker and I accompanied Jud on a short trip to Kotzebue. It was a rare warm and sunny day for them and Tucker enjoyed playing on the beach.
The bears we saw on our drive to Haines(:

Tucker (and Jud) loved the huge playground in Haines.

4th of July in Haines

We watched a beautiful display of fireworks over the bay. Tucker was pretty nervous about all the noise.
We took the ferry from Haines to Skagway and then drove to Dawson City in Canada.

While driving the "Top of the World" highway we crossed the border back into Alaska (:
