Visit in Ninichik

We enjoyed a visit to Ninilchik this last weekend. Vicky made us a yummy Japanese dinner and Tucker met his Uncle Cheyne and Aunt Ronda and cousins Daulton, Lee, and Ethan.

Tucker also enjoyed quality time with his aunts and uncles on the Knox side.

Grandma Knox loved his spiffy church outfit.

This sweater used to be Jud's when he was a little boy in Japan. Jud's sister Vicky immediately recognized it. (I believe she would have been around 12 when Jud was was this age.) She told me a Japanese lady knit it for Jud. I never would have guessed it was homemade. Its a great little sweater.

My First Foods

We have been letting Tucker taste different foods for a while now, but this week I am starting to supplement his milk with food. Some things he likes and others he doesn't. He loves trying to drink from a glass like Mommy and Daddy.

Denali Road Trip

We drovethe Denali highway last week. After spending the night camping at the entrance, we awoke Friday morning to a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground. It made the trip so beautiful and also enabled us to see all the fresh wildlife tracks. (:
We spotted several Moose, Caribou, Swans, Ducks, Ptarmigan (our prey) and a porcupine.
